It was a great 2 months with grandma Josie around. We all enjoyed her cooking but I’m pretty sure I enjoyed her company and help the most.
Eva got attached to “Dama Dosie”. She always wanted to hold her hand and would always say, “No dumping(jumping)” because that’s what grandma always told her about jumping on the couch.
Our Mother’s Day Sunday selfies
We went to the beach almost every single weekend.
~KADENA MARINA~
We rented a canoe and gave my mom her first ever canoe ride! Didn’t get a pic but here’s Rich and Maya in the lower left.
~TROPICAL BEACH~
There was a group of teenage girls blowing bubbles and, of course, Arabella being the friend-maker she is, she joined them!
They loved her! They let her blow bubbles and every time she blew some they would cheer.
(Working on getting this video up)
~OODOMARI BEACH~
~AHAREN BEACH ON TOKASHIKI ISLAND~
~KOMAKA ISLAND~
We took a little boat the this island. We packed a lunch and extra water because the only amenity on this island was a toilet!
~PINEAPPLE PARK~
We sampled lots of different pineapple juice concoctions, shopped and treated ourselves.
~BUTTERYAKI~
~BLUE SEAL~
So much cooking…
Maya learning from the best.
She is a natural!
My mom was even awesome enough to share her talent with my Activity Day’s girls and taught them how to make flour tortillas. They all loved it!
One of the last things on our “must do” list was, of course, Cocok’s!
Our last adventure was a luau in Okuma!
After the delicious food we enjoyed a live concert by Anuhea. She was awesome!
The fun 2 months had to come to an end and we were all sad for that day.
My mom’s favorite tree
It has been decided that her next visit will be 3 months. Mom’s are the greatest!
