For some crazy reason Rich and I thought it would be a great idea to make the 2 day drive out to Missouri for the 4th of July. We drove 2 days, stayed 4 and then turned right around and made the 2 day drive back to Utah. Crazy….CRAZY! We had such a great time and the kids were so well behaved on the drive that it was well worth it. Our first day we went straight to Branson to spend the day with my mom and sister and then on day 2, the 4th, we headed down to Marshfield for the Marshfield parade!
Thank you Mom, for the the following pictures! I didn’t have the energy or motivation to hop up and take too many more pictures.
The moment Aidan’s balloon slipped out of his hand.
The gang waiting for the fun to start.
Candy!
Always gotta have a John Deere tractor in a Marshfield parade!
Kids got tons of candy and had fun but we were hot so we headed back to grandma and grandpa’s to take a dip in their new pool! The kids loved it and asked to swim in it every single day!
Then it was time to get the party started…
Tallest to shortest. Can’t believe how tall Cassie has gotten! See how patriotic I was too. You can’t see them but my sandals are red. Such a nerd;)
But a party isn’t really a party until 2 guys in camo kilts get there, right? Love these crazy guys!
Dessert table
Sparkler time!!!!
P.S. Yes, Carson is in fact grabbing himself in the background of Josy’s pic. Poor guy had a bite on his you-know-what. He couldn’t help it:(
This was the guy with all of the power this year.
When it got dark we enjoyed a fireworks show put on by Rich and then called it a night having had a fun filled day with family. It was a great 4th of July.
