A Baker Campout

The night after the 4th of July we had a campout at Julie and Jeffrey’s house. The kids were beyond excited!

This is my proudest picture of the night. Rebecca is impossible to get a picture of and somehow I managed to get her to let me take her picture. I know she is SOOO EXCITED to see this on my blog (NOT!) Isn’t she beautiful?!?!

When it got dark we had another firework show and the kids played with sparklers. Carson set the bag of fireworks on fire with his sparkler and Jeffrey tried to stomp it out. When it wouldn’t go out he grabbed the bag and ran with it to get it away from the kids and then threw it. The fire went out and nothing was set off but it was quite the scare. Thank you Jeffrey for being willing to risk yourself for the kids!

After the fireworks show we roasted marshmallow’s and hand had smores while Rich told scary stories around the campfire. Then, all of us mom’s went inside to sleep in our cozy beds while the guys slept in tents with the kids. That’s my kind of camping!

I seriously love my Baker family so much! All of my sisters-in-law are great and so much fun to be around! Feeling so blessed to have the family I have.
