More Eva

I’m noticing that 75% of the pictures on my camera are of Eva. She’s just growing up so fast and doing so many new things! So here are a bunch of random Eva pics.

Her first french braids.

I had these grand plans of doing a photo shoot for her 1 year pics. Did I do it? NopeSad smile These were my practice ones just seeing if she would stand in the basket.

Trunk-or-Treatin’ it up

Trunk-or-Treat was SO FUN this year! I don’t know, maybe all of these holidays seem like so much fun because they all sucked last year with Eva not being well and all. For whatever reason I’m just really enjoying the season and all of the fun events going on.

This year Aidan and Maya both wanted to be vampires and Arabella wanted to be a fairy princess “with a tiara and a wand”. Eva got to wear Arabella’s hand-me-down cow costume which was so cute!

Rich told them to look angry, haha!

DSC_6771

Maya didn’t want to wear her vampire teeth because they hurt her mouth so she ended up looking like a renaissance girl.

Yummy, leaves.

First trick-or-treat ever! Doesn’t she look thrilled?

This trunk won first place. It was a pirate theme and the boys dressed up as pirates and the girls dressed up as mermaids. You had the option of being given a candy or digging for a treat. So cool!

Both Aidan and Maya wore their cowboy boots because, according to Aidan, “Real vampires wear boots.”

Shoes are ALWAYS on the wrong foot.

Black Island Farms

Fall is here and that means it’s pumpkin patch time, YAY!

DSC_6519

We have taken the kids to Black Island Farms the past 2 years and it has been awesome! This year we didn’t get to go to the actual pumpkin patch. The line was insanely long for the hayride to the pumpkin patch so we opted for the huge hay slides and the corn maze. The kids had an awesome time!

Aaron implemented the buddy system. They looked so cute running around holding hands!

And we began our journey into the never-ending crazy fun corn maze!

Look at Rich rockin’ my diaper bag while navigating us through the maze.

Aaron held up the back end and was chaos control. All of the unruly kids had to hang out with him(never my kids, always hisWinking smile)

Maya wanted to take some corn home for dinner.

Finally, the end of the corn maze!

I just wanted ONE good picture by the pretty sunflowers. This one with Eva’s teary eyes was as good as it gotSad smile

After the corn maze we did some steer roping, tire swinging and hay slide sliding.

Of course, there are always those that think they are light enough to ride on the KIDS swing and are thoroughly embarrassed when the bottom drags.

We were all exhausted and the kids had a great time despite not getting to pick out a pumpkin. Fall is fun!
