COVID-19 ~Week 2~

Social distancing continues and precautions begin to escalate. The clinic implemented a new schedule so the pharmacy staff is split into 2 teams, each consisting of 1 pharmacist and 2 techs. Each team will work every other day in order to limit their risk of exposure. This way if one team is exposed and have to be quarantined, the other team is still healthy and available to take over. They've done the same with the doctors in the clinic.

This is the week that basically everything on base shut down. They closed the gym, the library and began limiting who can shop at the commissary. At the commissary there is still no toilet paper and when they do get a shipment in, they have security forces guarding it, making sure that people are only taking one per customer. It's the same with the meat.

What has week 2 of social distancing looked like for us?

We've been having Pizza, Ice Cream & Movie night every Friday night for over 3 years. We all still look forward to it and nobody is sick of my pizza yet.

On Saturday we attending a friends baptism in our very own living room. It was a unique and special experience.

We ended our week with at home church which included Rich and Aidan blessing and passing the sacrament...

Eva getting super fancy to lead the music.

And a special musical number by the girls.

Week 2 of quarantine was when I decided the kids and I needed a schedule/routine. We implemented one near the end of the week and it made such a big difference in our productivity and making our day run smoother. Really getting into our groove and appreciating the blessing that all of this extra time together is.
